Debbie May – Wholesale Supplies Plus

Debbie May is a master-level, self taught handmade soap and cosmetic artisan. In 1999 she established Wholesale Supplies Plus and Crafter’s Choice Brands as a way to bring high-quality ingredients to hobbyists and small home-based businesses. She is a retired registered nurse and has her MBA in Executive Management from Baldwin Wallace University. Debbie regularly works with elected officials in Washington DC so they do not pass laws that inadvertently hurt the handmade soap and cosmetic industry. In 2012 she provided expert testimony before the US House Energy and Commerce Committee.

Marla Bosworth – Back Porch Soap Company

Marla Bosworth is the CEO and President of Back Porch Soap Company in Jackson Hole, WY. Her company retails, wholesales and offers private label bath and body products to resorts, boutiques and upscale stores worldwide. Marla conducts seminars on how to formulate soaps and natural skin care products as well as entrepreneurial classes in New York City, Boston, California and Colorado.

Angela Carillo – Alegana Soap

Angela Carillo is a New York State licensed Medical Technologist, with a love for biology and chemistry. In 1999 she developed her passion into a business by creating perfumes, lotions, body balms, bath salts and teaching classes through her company Alegana Soap.

Holly Port – Lotion Bar Cafe

Holly Port is the owner and operator of Lotion Bar Café in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her bath and body products are available for retail and wholesale. She sells to boutiques and stores in several states. Holly teaches product making classes nationwide and has turned recent author and loves sharing her knowledge.

Allison Vought – Alimar Labs

Allison B. Vought is an inventive scientist and educator specializing in natural cosmetic formulation and short-run, private label skincare. Since 2005, she has worked as chief cosmetic formulator, business consultant and CEO of various skin care companies. Allison is the co-founder of AliMar, LLC, a private label manufacturer specializing in ultra-low minimums, as well as co-founder of a Vegan skincare line.

Mary Anne Walsh – Handmade Cosmetic Alliance

Mary Anne has worked in Washington, DC for over 25 years. She currently champions a strong alliance of handmade cosmetic leaders, artisans, business owners, cosmetic and soap makers from across the country seeking to preserve the freedom to produce and sell handmade soap & cosmetics in the USA.
